Long Vowels

There are three long vowels in Persian: /â, i, u/:

/â/ as in father

 

/i/ as in tea

 

/u/ as in zoo

 

Unlike the Persian short vowels, long vowels are represented alphabetically. They take different shapes in a word, depending on their positions and whether they attach to the surrounding letters. The following table illustrates the shapes of these long vowels in various positions inside a word:

با درود در نوشته شما یک ایراد وجود دارد شما حروف صدا دار ساده فارسی را ، حروف صدار دار کشیده نامیده اید . این درست نیست یک مثال میزنم تا متوجه بشید : واژه "باران " را جند بار آوایش کنید میبینید الف اول کشیده تر و الف دوم بصورت ساده آوایش می کنید .چند مثال دیگر : الف در "مار" کشیده است و در "باک" الف ساده . در واژه "جوجه" او صدای ساده است در واژه " بور " او کشیده است. ما در فارسی 6 حرف صدار دار ساده ( -َ / -ِ / -ُ / آ / ای / او ) و 6 حرف صدا دار کشیده داریم که همان حروف ساده هستند که کشیده تر آوایش میشوند .
